2013 Superheros, zombies and pirates

This year has been filled with small and secret jobs. Some of them really boring and don't fit here. But next year I will be able to show some of the film work I have done. Patience please!
The spring production on Folkteatern was something as uncommon as a play about a the Swedish Försäkringskassan (the goverment social insurance agency) called "Den flygande handläggaren". I the play a gruntled employe becomes a superhero and takes the bosses down with force. So I made a super hero mask for her. Here is the silicone super hero mask glued down on a vacu form mask with rubber bands for easy handling on stage. Several color tests of the super hero mask For a trailer of the play we did a lot of zombies that supposedly had lost their insurance. So there was no time for any prosthetics. All we had time to do was some tattoo transfers and airbrushing the actors before splashing blood all over. We were two makeup artists and we only had an hour to make 6 people into zombies. Stress but fun! More zombies More zombies More zombies
More zombies Test makeup on my wife Heather Test makeup on my wife Heather All the actors had the same stylized makeup to look a bit doll like. Some false teeth for a politician in the play. Of course the actors had to look like zombieson stage as well but then there was no time for doing makeups. So I made vacu forms of all the actors faces and applied some wounds and enchanced cheek bones. The actors just put them on using the old trusted rubber bands behind the ears.... Which I hate but sometimes there is no option.

When will I get to do a proper makeup again?? But is is quite fun too... IMG8742 Some close ups of it. Again I used a lace beard on the back and the edges and thin top hair was all punched in

So edges for was not dead important but the whole look was the only important thing.
